I don't know how the car will handle 90 consecutive turns. better than a Buick? I heard turbos.

Turbo has a stiffer suspension than the N/A's do. It will definitely kick any civics a$$ while maintaining a decent ride. I think they pull like .90g or so on the skidpad.

the handling of a car is based entirely on the driver...

I have seen great drivers, drive FWD economy cars faster than average drivers in high performance sports cars.

Thats not it.

It handles fine until you feel the body start rolling. You will spin out so fast it isn't even funny. Best bet is to take it into an empty parking lot and LEARN your car.

ITs normally pretty hard to spin out a 2nd or 3rd Gen RX-7 unless you are way way over your abilities... perhaps there is something wrong with your car

What do you mean by "over your abilities"?

He means gotten the car REALLY out of control.

Icemark is 100% correct. The FCs have a fairly well designed suspension from the factory. It is certainly more confidence inspiring than most cars, but the driver's skill level will decided just how well it takes 90 degree corners and the like. The fact that you asked the question in the manner that you did raises a big red flag that you haven't been doing this very long. Get the car, find an SCCA club around your area and chase cones for a while. There will be some very nice people out there able to give you great advice on how to drive your car to it's limits. And check out Fred Puhn's book, how to drive Solo II or something like that. GREAT reading material.

Well the thing was that at my first two autocrosses I spun the car once. I found that it would have a tendency to snap-oversteer. I popped in some DTSS eliminator bushings and also changed the way I drive and now I rarely see oversteer. If I do incur oversteer it's on purpose and it's (now, seemingly) easy to control. I was confused by Icemark's wording, just needed a little clarification.

The only NA's that didnt come with the t2 suspension were the base model NA's,.. aka the base, 89 gtu and 91 coupe,...gxl's, sport's, 88 gtu's, gtus's all came with the same suspension as the T2
