RX7 is backfiring alot

Unhappy RX7 is backfiring alot

[SIZE="4"][SIZE="2"][FONT="Arial Black"]i dont know ats going on, i turned on my rx7 and before the engine is on it backfires, dont know my and its idling like crazy before it dint do that, dont know wats going on my car is going crazy or was?
the said that the fuel injectors could be bad or i probably got water in my gas tank but i wana know wat u guys think, my car seems like its dying and its bacfiring realy loud when im not even hitting the gas... =(
please guys i need help

by the way i have a 87 13b na turbo

u guys think lucas oil will work just to clean out the injectors, i dont know if i can use that for a rotary engine

TPS out of calibration, since you have a s4 also check the dashpot while you are calibrating the TPS. Leaky injectors too will cause it, but make sure to cover the basics too.

tps... i dont know much about rotarys, where is that located??? and the dashspot is in the middle rite on top of the dash?

You need to search the forums for TPS adjustment it has been covered many times and I am not about re-write the procedure again (nothing against you). The dash-pot on your s4 is located on the throttle body. Most likely you need to check both according to the factory service manual. This doesn't rule out the fact you should service your old injectors...

If it's not idling properly and backfiring like crazy and you can't rev it past say 4000rpm, I would check your air flow meter connected behind the air filter also. You definitely want to go through that service manual and start checking up on those components.
