RTek, anyone having any problems with theirs?

Friend of mine said his stumble got worst when it lowered RPMs of the changeover, and a couple other small things.
Was wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the rtek 1.5 or 1.7?

mine works fine but i do get a hesitation around the new lower secondary staging point at times. when i'm wot the secondaries come on fine. but when i'm cruising around 3400 to 3500 my car stumbles sometimes. 720s are brand new and i'm going to clean the primaries to see if it makes a difference.

you can tell when the 720s come on but by no means is it a stumble. Mine works just fine.

Got a 1.5, no problems.

(Wish the 2.0 would come out VERY soon.)

Can you run stock primaries 550cc and 720cc secondary with the r-tek 1.7 in a 87 t2. And do you need a safc to. Tony

As suggested, go to www.pocketlogger.com and READ the info about their ECU upgrades...

That isn't too hard, is it?

Thumbs up Rtek 1.7

After my 1.7 chip was installed, I had all kinds of problems with idle and surging. Ran way too rich. After asking for and following advice from fellow forum members, I grounded and grounded. Still had an idling problem. Found a cracked turbo snorkle. Got if fixed. Car runs better than ever. I am extremely pleased with the product.

I'm about to run the chip with 720primaries and hopefully if the injectors ever get to me 890 secondaries with a bnr stage III turbo. Now of course it is going to take some tuning but it is still good for retarding timing etc...
