Rotor differences???

Is the recess in the S5 turbo rotor cast or milled like the S5 NA rotor? Thanks!

Are you asking where the difference is that causes the turbo rotors to have lower compression ratio than the N/A rotors?

No. I'm asking whether there is a visual difference between the two.

yes there is a visusl difference between the s5 and rx-8 rotors the thing that i see difference is the tub in the rx8 rotor is not as deep as the s5 rotors and the apex seals are not as tall as 95 and older . and the rx-8 rotors have the milled look to them
atkins rotary all ready have one rx-8 rotor and that is where i saw the differeince .

Line them up next to eachother. With a sharp eye you can see the recesses are different. If you stare at enough of them you can tell which is turbo by just looking at it.

On Zenki rotors, the turbo ones are 2mm deeper than the NA ones. A dial caliper will easily show you the difference.

So Mr. dan atkins, you're not going to give me a reply on the stock-is-better thread, huh?
