roller pricing?

I just sold my blown t2 for 3000. It was modded and all it needed was a rebuild. I towed for the guy and the same day i bought a 91vert for 2000 thats absolutely flawless.
It all just depends, i am seeing roller t2's going for quite alot because they are just a better car as far as supension, drivetrain etc.
The last roller i got was a 89gxl and it was free. They thought it was blown but it needed spark plugs. Cleaned it up and sold it for 2200.

wow thats some good stuff 91verty.
well i asked the seller about towing it to me, but he says chances are slim.
are there any other cheap alternatives besides uhaul if i don't know anyone?
really hoping to purchase this chassis cause i'll have tons of free time this comming year to play around with a car.

When you buy a roller, you buy the chassis, the VIN for that chassis, and the option to register it and legallydrive it out in the public.

If you do live in seattle, you would want to check that car carefully for rust insaide and out. The rain and snow does wonders to these old cars

Me personally, i would not buy a roller unless it was a gxl or T2. Base models are not good for projects especially when your knowledge is little on rx-7's.
U-haul has got good dollies i just rented one saturday. Turned it in Sunday morning and it was 45 dollars.
But as everyone has been saying, please do yourself a favor and check for rust and other electrical glitches too.
ANd if you have any questions please use the forum for questions or opinions that you need.

thanks 91verty.
problem is, the only person i know who drives anything that even has a towing rig drives a cr-v. which i'm guessing is way too small to pull a rx-7 up on a dollie some 100+ miles?
i've never tried, but i'm just guessing, and + the uhaul website was advising against it..
the seller sent me decent pictures of the bottom of the car, the wheel wells and the front n' back bumpers. i couldn't think of anything else to ask for.
thanks again!

That's true. I should add that although my car needs body work, it has no rust or bondo and drives (if it ran) straight. The engine is still in the car but it needs a rebuild.

hmph. if anyones particularly good with buying rollers i'd love to know how they usually go about inspecting the thing, and what questions they use to prescan the car before going out to see it. the roller i'm looking to buy is 3 hour away, so i've been really cautious in trying to make sure it's the real deal.
thanks.
thanks.
