REX NEWBEE - Help

Aight, just picked up an 88' vert ( non turbo ) with reasonably low kilometeres for its age.
Just wanted to hear some advice on how you guys would go about modding it up, if at all.
Is it worth it? I have like NO money, so those cheap do-it yourselfer little tips would be greatly appreciated.
Take it easy

Also, convertibles are just plain slow, and require a serious amount of time and money to go fast. Just enjoy the excellent car you have, and put your effort towards repairs as needed. These two sites have free service manuals which have a maintenance schedule for you to follow. The manual also provides other good information like the recommended oil grade and coolant mix for your driving environment.

Yeah...best low budget mod out there is to not touch anything performance-wise and just take extravegant care of your machine and within 6 months you'll have a car that was at at least one time faster tah any other member's cuz yours'll be running...and theirs...well, we know how that goes.

Good Advice Boys

I am really enjoying the ride and still get the occasional check out by people. The vert has a bit of a timeless look I think. One thing I was interested in was the short shift kit, pretty expensive for what it is though eh?

Exactly. My TII is a pain in the *** because I stripped the motor down. If I owned a vert Id spend money making it nicer to drive since it would never be quick. My TII is completely opposite, Ill never put anything in it to make it more comfortable.
