Replumbing power steering with AN fittings?
Just curious if anyone has done this and what fittings you've used.
obviously it probably wouldn't be an idea to do the high pressure line (with out a high pressure line made by a hydraulic shop) or the P/S cooler line. I'm just trying to tidy it up a bit, fix some leaks and shorten some of the lines when I move my P/S down to where the AC lives via this thread:

If you look on that Bracket,You can see 4 holes in a square-ish sort of pattern.
If you just lower the bracket to the Middle holes and make another hole you can set that bracket with 3 bolts, and not have to Do alot of modifying really.
I did that and lowered the unit.worked good.I bought another belt after measuring the length with a string around the pulleys.
Oh,The hoses will fit without modification too.

There is a big stud on the bottom of the engine, driver's side front cover area, that you can use for one hole.I just eyeballed the holes after that.If you make the holes big enough you can fool with the placement.
Eyeballed the Pulley too,to make sure that the belt wouldn't sit all ****-eyed.
the Back bolt will require a spacing, and I am sure I used a Wheel nut to do that,in between the bracket and engine, maybe a washer or two.
It wasn't radical though.
I wasn't worried about Being "exact" as it just needs to be "fairly straight" belt wise.Since the belt only needs to run the pump to turn it,It doesn't need to Be Cranked tightly, just so that it won't slip,or slip off!
I just wanted to make sure that I could do it without the use of a welder or special tools.
I made it up in the Middle of "nowhere" in a garage at a cottage!
