replacing locks.

I recently picked up a 87 white rx7 se and one of the few problems with it is that the drivers side door won't open from the outside due to a break in. Where's a good place to find the necessary replacement parts? I checked the FAQ but I didn't see anything for this.

Thanks.

You can also buy a used lock and handle assembly of someone's parts car and then take it to a locksmith and have it re-keyed. That's what I did for my passenger side. Getting it rekeyed cost me $29 with the cylinder still in the handle. My buddy told me that he got a lock cyilnder rekeyed for $5.

In fact, now that I think about it, I've still got the driver's side handle (purple) and lock cylinder from a 88 Turbo II if you want it. Say $20 + shipping? You also have to disassemble the door, but that's pretty easy.

how do you remove the manual window lever/regulator?
I can't find any screws holding it in and it doesn't seem to just pop off.

Take a shop towel and fold it in half and slide it behind it so that it goes between the lever and the plastic disc against the door panel. There is a type of C-clip that holds it to the shaft. You may have to slide it in in different spots befor you hit it just right.

I have the same problem but i just ordered both door handles with lock assembly (coming with keys) so i didn't have 2 seperate keys for each side of the car. Contact "TriadMotors" he has like 43 FC's. He will have all the parts you need and more. I got them for $50 Shipped and matched with the color of my car
