I have an 87 gxl, so i have the radio/tapedeck/cd player.

when igot the car (couple months ago) radio didnt work (although antannae used to come up when i started th car) , but the cd played did work. the system worked great, but then i started having some problems

first, i dunno iff this is related but my passenger window wuldnt roll down. then one day i just started working again. then the rado just lost power, no more cd player nothin.

since then my wipers have gone razy, but i think thts something different, and my drivers side window was temporarily broken, but its fixed too, i think just contact points.

anywoy i checked the fuse, is all good, stock radio, never messed with so what could it be??

 

go behind the radio check the wires for 12v look in the FAQ's for the color codes i know one is blue with a white stipe i dont remember the other one also check the white wire its the factory amp

 

more to me though its sounds like maybe a grounding issue

 

you mean a grounding issue in the audio electronics or in the car somewhere? sometimes i have a very slgh 3800 hesitation but not eough to warrent re grounding though. nobody has had this sameproblem?????
