parts for sale section?
junkyard?
ebay?

im assuming you want some form of "new" box, but i don't quite get why aside from being able to use newer style fuses for a bit more headache. a new box won't prevent it from melting.

Melting was from a stupid mistake (put the new battery in like anew idiot and I had the cables swapped) so I just was looking for a replacement. Found one website with Universal and I'm gonna call Mazda tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation

Yes, the 3 options listed above. If the part is even still available from Mazda, it's going to most likely be cost prohibitive. You want an S4 fusebox (you could easily swap your cover and appropriately sized fuses to an S5 box if you want). If you have more than 10 posts you can post a wanted thread in the classified and will almost certainly have an offer within 24 hours. Other than that, eBay has an S5 box up right now for $40.
