Question Replacement Convertible Top Options

Hey all,
I'm looking for some suggestions from those who have recently replaced their convertible top. I need an OE style Haartz Pinpoint Vinyl top and don't know who is reputable outlet to purchase from. All the places I looked into a while back are no where to be found. I need a well made set but can't afford to spend a stupid amount on it.

I don't need suggestions on how to install it. I have a professional for that. LOL

Thanks,

Robbins is the top brand for Haartz vinyl. A few years ago I found the best price at Car Tops Plus, although since then I have seen some good prices for Robbins tops on Ebay.
cartopsplus.com

You can also search for distributors on the Robbins website, although my personal experience was that I could order the top online for about $300 less than any of my local shops could purchase the same thing through the distributors.

That's good, because my suggestion on how to install it is to have a professional do it, lol. My local shop installed my top for only $400, which was WELL worth it.

What he said^

Unless you're going for the original original stock look, you might want to ask for the S5 as the center panel includes what are essentially rain gutters that the S4 version doesn't.

Dont do the vinyl top. Looks cheap and sud-standard. Go for the Canvas. Its a little more $, but worth it.

Replacement Convertible Top Options

I purchased the canvas one from the Convertible Top Guys and had it professionally installed. I would not get the cheap looking vinyl one. It won't last as long as the canvas and it just doesn't look as good. That said, personal preferences aside, here is a link to their web site where you can check out all the options:

Good luck with the replacement!

Do you have any pics of the car before and after the install?

Is it a robins top?

We went with the canvas top from CTG's too. I agree with Goldfinger the canvas makes the vinyl look cheap. Here's a couple of shots of ours probably four years since we installed it.

I just got a canvas one from ezsofttops (or something like that)
The canvas does look much nicer. .. it probably insulates better because it's thicker also.
