This is going to happen. My car wont idle on its own when it first starts up, but after about a minute it will hold an idle at about 1000(decent sized street port).

This is how i received my car, so I don't know what it is like to drive a stock car, but I'm assuming all the bucking etc would not be there.

mine also will not idle when cold, when it gets some heat built up in it it will idle around 1,000rpm. she runs great. i think its just something you have to deal with, no big thing to me

I will never understand why people take the thermowax out...
Some say it helps lower intake temps because you don't have hot water passing through your TB
Ever lift the hood after driving for 10 minutes? Mmmm... barbecue time. Think that TB is staying cold because you took the thermowax out?

people take the thermowax off to help the rpm's drop faster. dont ask, lol. it works, but it does not serve a very good purpose seeing how if the rpm's drop too fast, the car has the tenancy to stall.

I did the full tb mod, emissions removal and premix for simplicity. Having 3 vacuum lines and a uncluttered engine makes for a good time. As for stalling on decel, can't say it ever happened to me and in pretty sure a 9lb flywheel will drop recent a lot faster than stock.

Yes and idled solid at 750...when warmed up. Would try and die when motor was cold but that was to be expected.

People are not to bright... the DASHPOT slows the throttle plates down as they snap shut/approach the closed position. Most who have done the "mod" have removed the dashpot as well, hence the near stalling.

I enjoy having my car start easy, and drive better. I guess I am not "mad tyte" enough to drive without these aids.
