Vert Seat Belt Problem!
Hey, just wondering if anyone has taken apart a convertible seatbelt assembly and successfully put it back together. About 2 weeks ago my seatbelt stopped retracting so I took it apart and unintentionally opened the cap to the assembly and this metal coil thing popped out and unravelled. I tried wrapping it back up and successfully got it back into the casing but now my seat belt will randomly lock and unlock itself. I'm guessing the coil has to be wound up a certain way or something? Probably not safe to drive without it working properly but I can't seem to find one to replace it (I found out that apparently the vert seat belts have a different assembly than the non verts.
p.s. my car is a 1990 JDM vert
Any help would be great!
Thanks.

FYI...
All restraint systems are covered under a lifetime warranty (doesn't matter how many miles you have, if you're the original owner, if it's worn to hell, blah blah). If you have a faulty seat belt take it into the dealer and they will replace it free of charge.

ya, that'd be nice. Lets say that was true.. you think they would still fix it for free even after I took it after apart myself and played around with it?

Anyone got a picture of a regular coupe seat belt assembly (the rectractor part)? If so, please post and I'll compare my vert one to see if it's possible to use one of those instead.
