removing UIM, can't get it off

88 FC non turbo

I'm trying to get to my fuel injectors so I can pull them out and rebuild them since I have been having flooding problems lately.
I've taken all the bolts and nuts I can find that look like they would even remotely connect it to anything else and it still won't come off. Is there a technique to this (prying?) or are there hidden bolts?

there is loctite residue on some of the bolts as well so I hope it isn't glued to the LIM.
I took some pictures showing what I have removed so far if that's any help.
Also there is a picture of a little green filter thing I broke, and need to replace. if anyone knows the name of it please let me know.

imgur: the simple image sharer

Thanks for your help in advance.

Did you get the bolt that is right behind the alternator in this pic?

Check the FSM to make sure all the bolts are off. If everything else is removed try tapping it LIGHTLY with a rubber mallet. You dont want to crack the manifold and cause yourself all kinds of trouble. I'm sure somebody else has some suggestions

I printed up page 4A-55, the dynamic chamber removal procedure, and it is very non specific about what bolts to remove and the picture is poor :/
It doesn't even show the bolt by the alternator or the two on the back of the manifold

Definitely use a rubber mallet like stated before. It seems to "fuse" like that when it's been stuck on there so long without removal.

Part of the vacuum system support frame bolts to the UIM. I think there's a 1 12mm bolt by the firewall closer to the drivers side.

There is a 10mm that hold the ratsnest to the upper manifold, and then the nest is bolted to the engine.
If you do not get that 10mm bolt off the whole manifold will not come off.
Reach in the back..passenger side, follow the edge of the back of the manifold closest to the firewall. That is where the bolt is.

What styx said...those two vac lines on that side of the car will lead to the bolt.
