Normally, when I do them, they are so stuck that with the interference from the fan shroud and related engine components there is not enough room to get leverage. I end up removing the belly pan, and using a jack stand and section of 2x4 to support one wrench (the inner one) while I wack the outer wrench with a hammer. Works every time.

You might need to replace the copper crush washers when you put it back together, btw. If you don't, chances are really good that the joint will leak.

Your still not explaing in detail to me..........Im very confused. Which nut should I try to turn, the inner one or the outer one. The outer one isn't 23mm, or at least my wrench doesn't fit on it, but the inner one fits, however I cant get any leverage on turning it.

I dunno how you much room you have, but when I pulled my front cover, I took the rad. shroud out and pretty much just sat inside the engine bay facing the front cover. Hold the inner one tight and loosen the outer one (I am pretty sure on this but its been a while). Be careful when you break it loose, as you don't want the wrench to hit the rad and bend a bunch of fins like me. I used two really big crecent wrenches to do it and it broke loose without too much difficulty. Keep us informed on if it works or what not.

it is 23mm and I used a big vise grips on the other. I removed the fan shroud and the fan. I was afraid of breaking something. I used liquid wrench and tapped it a bit before I gave it to much muscle. Very easy job.

It's a lot easier if you take out the shroud first.
You need to hold the nut that's between the oil cooler nut and the front housing. It's a 23mm and you *might* need a narrow wrench to get it on . Hold the nut that's between the oil cooler and housing and use another wrench on the oil cooler nut. These are not reverse thread. If it's tight, tap the wrench with a hammer to loosen it.
You might want to block your radiator fins in case you slip. You don't want to smash them .
When you install it back on use some teflon tape on the threads, tighten the adapter that goes into the housing, hold it with the 23mm wrench and tighten the oil cooler nut.
You need to use 2 wrenches or else you'll leak oil from the oil cooler not being tight enough.

Thank You, that description is perfect!!! I already took my shroud, fan, pulleys and radiator off, see I am removing my engine for a beautiful Landers rebuild. Problem though, the oiler cooler line(the outside one) isn't 23mm, seriously I can't get my 23mm on it, what size could it be then? I'll probably just use a large crescent wrench as noted, I'm pulling the block on Friday for sure, it's about damn time.

No, the inside is 23mm. Use an adjustable for the oil cooler line. I'm not sure what the size is though. An adjustable works fine since it isn't torqued that much.
