I got an adjustable wrench around the big one just fine, but I didn't notice the double-nut deal and both nuts turned together.

The union the screws into the front cover uses a 21mm wrench OR you can use a 13/16ths inch wrench. Both need to be THIN. A Makita grinder will do that for you.

The *B*nut that attaches to that union is 26mm OR use a 1 1/16 Mac open end wrench. I find that works.

The banjo bolt at the rear oil line is 23mm.

You NEED to hold the 21mm union when you remove the *B*nut attached to it.

If you have a lot of cheap open end *American* wrenchs laying around, and a Makita grinder, and are careful, you can find one of those wrenches that almost fits the flats of a given nut, and grind a touch of material away on the wrench to get a tight enough fit to remove the *B*nut.

I've done it both ways. Of course the cheap ground down wrench is only good for one job now. But there are a lot of cheap open end wrenches out there.

NOTE: I also noticed that the RacingBeat front oil line *B*nut that attaches to the union in the front cover is or seems to be 27mm instead of the factory 26mm.

Someone else told me 21mm and 27mm.

I just bought a bunch of wrenches (before your post)...but not a 26mm, so no offense, but I hope you're wrong

All hail HAILERS! You were exactly correct, my friend. So, out of 3 sockets and 3 wrenches I bought, only ONE was really correct. But, as Wankels-Revenge says...doesn't hurt to have wrenches!

Anyway...I got the 21mm wrench on the A nut and it was just in the right position to sit against the front sway bar, holding it in place. I used a large adjustable wrench to the loosen the B nut. It didn't put a fight at all.

Now off to the hardware store to get a 23mm wrench to get the back one off.
