So i Got an S5 slight idle problem

So i Got an S5 slight idle problem

hey, well i got an rx7 put down the deposit and he's smogging it this week. The only problem with the car was that at idle it was a little rough was and stayed fluctuated at about 500rpms. When i put A/c on it idle perfectly at 1000rpms what could be wrong? Besides that its great im thrilled!

I have a good amount of previous auto experience what sort of service manual should i look to invest in to see how to do maintenance on this car? also I read about making a tps tool with 2 turn signal lights but can't seem to remember where perhaps you know thanks.

much simpler with a multi-meter, and many people damage the ECU's output by doing the bulb thing wrong.

cool already have a multimeter thanks! gonna check out that link now. Im picking up my car on saturday and ill get right to work ,
read it so adjust it till the multimeter reads 1ohm at idle?
also whats WOT mean? (wide open throttle?)

i used the multi meter method and it seemed to work much better then when i did the light bulb one.

yep WOT is Wide Open Throttle.

well i didn't adjust tps yet but i did tighten the throttle cable it was loose now it idles well at stops but when i change things it seems to shutter a little
