remove dashboard...HELP

Exclamation remove dashboard...HELP

ok...this thing is really pissin me off. there has to be some screws im missin cuz its not movin. i got the 4 bolts of the the sides. and one behind the center light thing. where else are there some? please help. im bout to start cutting away at the damn thing. do i have to remove all the ac hose things? pics of a dash out of a car would help to. and i looked in the haynes manual....dont really help much. thanks.

try looking at the FSM instead (downloadable at iluvmyrx7.com).

There's also a thread in the archive about removing the dash.

open the doors pop off the the covers that are vents from the dash to the doors. its two on each side of the dash

omfg if i have to write this one more time im going to kill this thing. ok...4th try to post this....sry bout that.....ok. well i did get those out...the 4 by the doors but i think there are more cuz its just not budgeing. ill check out that site tho. but i cant find any posts bout it tho. can you send a link please? all i can find is 3rd gen stuff. thanks guys.

Its been a while since I pulled mine but I think there are some,3 I think, across the front edge of the dash by the windshield. Under some other covers if I remember.

The Haynes manual has a much better section on dash removal than the FSM does. Buy one, it will save you a lot of headaches .

10mm bolts by the doors,4 10mm bolts down under the paqnels by the radio,3 10mm bolts under the defroster panel and 2 12mm bolts holding the steering colum to the dash.you also have to take out the gauge cluster, the speaker on the passenger side, and the a and b piller thats all you have to remove.Haynes says you have to remove just about everything on the dash, but you dont. Iv had mine out 9 times, it takes me a 45 minutes to get it out

i just did it today, first time, 20 mins dash out.

just search, i found a great writeup on this forum that was VERY precise...
