reliability mods

Hey guys i just bought myself an 88 rx7 conv. It has 164,000 miles on it. I want my rx7 to last me a while, so i want to know if there are any mods i can do to increase the life of my rotary. Mods or anything i can replace in the motor to increase the lifespan of the rotary without swapping in another motor. If you guys know any please tell me and information about it. thanks

Mods or Maintainance?

Well, sounds like the story of my lil car. Might I offer you some advice, if you dont mind taking it from a girl Go for re doing the apex seals and the belts, maybe do abit of tuning, change the oil with premium stuff, not synthetic! Mine has 170,000 miles and going and the engine is pretty much moving right alot. You might need a new fuel pump, as mine did, and as for anything else, a basic tune up should safice for keeping its life span longer. Baby the engine = )

1. Keep the oil changed.
2. Keep the oil changed.
3. Keep the oil changed.
4. Check oil level EVERY TIME YOU FILL UP
5. Keep your air filter clean.
6. Do a tune up.

It's pretty much like any other car. Take care of it and it will take care of you.
