CA Reliability mods for the 13b-RE.

Hello,
I was recently informed that I was going to be sold an 1988 S4 base modeled RX7 for $400 from my closest friends older brother. He swapped the engine since the old engine blew out because of the dads ignorance among rotaries. Now as I was looking through the internet about "how to build reliable rotaries" and I came upon this site.. http://www.rx7.org/Robinette/reliabiltiy.htm
Now I need conformation if this is a great site for information, and also I was wondering Should I replace all of the the rubber hoses into steel piping hoses?
Thanks.

Well dude non of that stuff really matters, What matters is that your on top of maintanence and don't do silly stuff with the car like beat the **** out of it.

Just keep an eye on the water temps and fluid levels is good.
