It could be the dimmer relay or headlight relay. Have you had you're headlights on while the relay was unhooked?

Might have a bad headlight switch, backfeeding the dimmer relay, causing the buzzing.

There was another thread on this same subject about 2 weeks ago- see if you can find it...

well the headlights seem to be working fine, its not buzzing inside the cabin, its actually the relay itsself thats rapidly turning on and off that i can hear comming from the relay. I unplugged it, all lights dimmer etc still work. thats why im somewhat confused about this situation. This is the relay thats farthest to the right when looking at the engine bay, correct? thanks -alex

something could be arching. It would make a nice rapid clicking sound.

Get your hands on the wiring manual schematic for the headlight switch and headlight relay/dimmer relay circuits, and you'll see what I'm talking about as far as the "backfeeding" goes. There are several diodes internal to the relays and light switch, that when fail, create an alternative electrical circuit that will cause your probs. The trick is going to be figuring out which component is doing it. If you know how to check a diode with a meter, half the battle is already won. Make sure you isolate the relay/ switches (by pulling the plugs) when reading the diodes out...

Either that, or you have some wiring problems (chaffing) in that front harness somewhere...
