Redline!
i read somewhere that rotaries redline at 16000 RPMs, i'm guessing the limits given to us are for our daily driving and what not. but i have seen a video on the forum of a FC and its dash with up to 16000rpms on the tachometer, but they only showed the guy shifting athe guy was shifting at 14000rpms and the gas gauge dropped super fast.
i'm guessing it also saves us gas.

Yes, the number made is not confirmed but Mazda made approximately 500 marketed to Japan, UK and Australia, as they are RHD only. its also rumored that it came with all theInfini FC3S model upgrades (with an 8K redline). There is a hand full in the US. The verts were not made on the regular FC/FD production line, they were built on the line that the Mellinnia and eunos 900 were later built on. The coupes stopped production in 5/91, while convertibles didn't stop until 08/92.
