Red Line Beep?

For the first time after owning my car since Oct. 2008 I heard my red line beep today. I don't know what I did different, my only idea is the fuses next to the battery. The other day I had warmed up my car and check the oil and then decided to press down the fuses just to make sure, a handful of them had something to give, than today which was the first time redlining my car since pressing on the fuses, it beeped. The car is a '91 na coupe.

This is normal. The car is supposed to "buzz" at 7,000 RPMs.

Every car came from the factory with the "buzz"... Our cars are 20+ years old, so I am sure some of them have just kind of "fizzled out".

I see what you did there...clever Karack, haha.

Buzzer is nice since I don't want to be looking down at my tach when I'm approaching RPM's of that nature in 2nd or 3rd gear (autocross).

I'm pretty sure just about everything on our cars only like to work intermittently lol. Although being a quite 'cool' feature, I find the buzzer extremely annoying. I hardly ever bring the revs high enough for it to activate, but when I do it surprises me and makes me think I'm low on coolant...

Mine also came back when i had the wiring redone for my headlights. So i have a toggle switch now for the headlights. Anyways, after placing the new toggle switch, the "beep" came on once i hit around 7500rpms. Not only that...but the factory alarm also started to work also.

I've owned my car for 3 years and twice it has beeped when I had the key on and the door open. Haha totally random.
