I got a 1990 tII and inicially i was looking to install a racing beat system but I dont know if I want it so quiet...

If anyone has experience with a good cat back exhaust system that will shake my neighbours windows please recommend them!

Get a bridgeport that should shake your neighbors windows.

I heard the corksport exhaust is pretty loud.

if you want the cheaper and easier system...just put the straight pipe.
and then see if neighbors are going to hear you about 5 blocks down

doca.

trust me, i went with the streightpipe turbo back corksport setup w/ a 3" DP, i had pretty much a 3" streight pipe, it was way too friggin loud!!!. Heres a contrast on just how loud it was, I previously owned an Subaru impreza 2.5, when i got my Apexi N1 for it, the exhaust that many impreza owners thought was super loud, was too quiet for me, my guess is that my 7's setup in comparison to the subaru with an N1, that my setup had to of broken 120dB+ an i have a turbo! unless your running cats or anything that can keep it quiet, id suggest not going this route, especially if you dont want your car to be heard 2 miles away (not kidding!) I could also set off caralarms just idleing,i ended up going with the racing beat full turboback setup, its not quiet enough to be dissapointed and is loud enough to be happy IMO. -alex

I had an 88 n/a with gutted cats and the corksport catback and it was loud as hell. If you put the silencer in it was very quiet. Then i did a turbo swap and it was also very loud of course it sounded much better, even if you put the silencer in it is still beefy sounding and pretty loud. It probably has something to do with the thunderfab dp/mp but it sounds awesome. Thats just me. Seems 95% of the people on this forum are RB diehards.

I was only going to get the full RB but decided it might be to weak. Some say its pretty loud when you get on it, but I just want to do something different then just buying the full RB.

I think I'm getting a 3" RB downpipe/presilencer, and then getting a custom catback made flowing into a pair of magnaflow strait-though mufflers.

Should have a good balance of weight, power, and sound, so I'll tell ya guys how it works out, and I'll try to host a video when I get it done.
