Recently bought n RX-7
I just bough a 1988 Mazda RX-7 GXL about a month and a half ago, and I just love it. I've already put a little over 1000 miles on it, and the only thing I needed to do so far was to change fluid levels (oil and coolant were just about empty when I got it, and the transmission fluid was way over-full), and replace the badly dry-rotted tires. I only got it for $500 because it was smoking transmission fluid really bad, but it was just the overflow hitting the exhaust system. Once it's returned to normal levels, it's been great. It has an exhaust leak I think between the 2nd preconverter and the converter, but I'm not entirely sure about the location, and one of the ball joints, or at least the rubbe boot, is AFU, but other than that it's one of the best things to happen to me. True, it has no starting power, but when you get the RPM's high, it's nice. Alas, it was an automatic, but you can still get a small kick in the pants if you take it out of over-drive, then floor it. The dropped gear "for power during passing" isn't only for passing...

Looks good, man. Welcome to the board. Somehow I kind of like that color although my favorites are black or red.
