haha that beeping noise!!

So I was giving this girl a lift from school to the Y.

I just got the auto-belts fixed today. She gets in and the seat is way far reclined from when the shop was working on the belts (no rear bins means you can recline way back). She gets in and i start the car...

less then ten seconds later

her: "whats that beeping"
me: "thats the seatbelt telling me not to move"
her: "the seatbelt beeps?"
me: "only when I move"
her: "oh. This is comfortable."
couple seconds later...
her: "whats that buzzing"
me: "tachometer telling me to shift"
her: "the rpm thing buzz's"
me: "when its time to shift"
her: "oh. "

haha... only in an rx-7

Couple seconds later...
her: "what was that"
me: "afterburn"
her: "whats afterburn"
me: " the rotary engine runs so rich that the exhaust has a high gas mixture that wasn't fully combusted. The gas hits the oxygen at the end of the exhaust and combusts outside the mufler"
her: "whats a rotary engine"
me: "um... think of spinning dorritos"
her: "spinning dorittos?"
me: "yeah and they spin on a shaft that also spins, but it spins at 1/3 he speed of the dorritos... thats the e-shaft"
her: "the e-shaft?"
me: "crankshaft"
her: "oh, sounds complicated:
me: "its not."

So did all this small talk get you anywhere. Or did it end at the Y.
