hi, i was wondering about a recall on the seatbelt from a 91????? j/w.....

yes, the automatic seatbelts had a recall (i believe all?). i dont know exactly where, but if you search, you may find the papers that prove it. you shouldnt need that unless the dealer asks for them, i wouldnt think.

Lifetime recall on S5 mouse belts.

If they are not working any Mazda dealer is supposed to fix them without charge.

However that does not cover worn out belts. Only broken belts, sensors, controllers and retractors.

if you need, i will send you broken s5 electric belts, free of charge, only want shipping. my driver side is out and replaced with a manual belt. passenger side is still in, but will be taken out.

wait...only the automatics? I have a vert with the belts exposing that red tag thingy. do i qualify? and i cant find the scanned papers.

No, the recall only applies to the mouse belts on the 89-91 RX-7 USA model and California model coupes
