rebuilt, ported motor, no start

That's odd, maybe your rear fuel injector is running lean. Swap your primary injector with the secondary injector and see how that goes.

no go i have 550 secondaries i still need to finish the fuel system. put the 550s in the primaries and get 720s for the secondaries reg., fuel computer and what not so it probably won't run right until all of that is accomplised. but i realize that i am no where close to completing the break in period.

You could swap the primaries on the front and rear engine. See if the front part of the manifold glows red first.

You sure you don't have the timing marks backwards?

Did you line up the CAS to the yellow or red mark? IT should have been the yellow one.

The marks are lined up correctly. if you a looking at the engine from the front and the marks are on the top of the pulley it is the mark on the right.
