rebuilt engine question

I am in the process of rebuilding my turbo engine I have. I am doing a swap into an n/a. Now the question is if I build this engine and get it all running and ready and installed with the tranny can I let it sit about a month before actually driving it? I will be needing to get the rear end ready for the turbo tranny. Would it do any harm to install the engine and just let it idle say once a week for 15-20 mins w/o putting any strain on the engine before I get the rear end installed on it or should I just leave it in pieces in my garage until im ready to put everything in at once?

mm...it should be fine, some reccomend you let it idle for a long while anyway...I dont think i'd want to deal with driving a freshly broken in engine, either...I'd say you should be fine, as long as you start it up...
