rebuilding a n/a engine

how hard is it and how much would it cost if i were to do it at my home? what sort of things would i need that are out of the ordinary?
does anyone know of a good video/manual for rebuilding engines?

If you are doing it before you blow it up then probably 700 if you have good housings and rotors. If you have bad components probably about 1k with an upgraded seal kit with bearings and such.

USD but they are just estimates and could change with differing needs for your engine. Engines can blow out of the blue so you may not get the chance to do it prior to that.

if your mechanically incline and dont mind the work... go for it... building my motor in my backyard now. hopefully will be done at the end of this month

Didnt you post some pics awile back, of your engine, dissasembled on like little wooden blocks on top of the grass? Good stuff. What rebuild kit did you go with?

Yeah, I ordered the BASIC KIT from rotaryaviation. Should be coming in next week. Got all parts washed up and ready to assemble. Will have more pics of the build...
