Has anyone here ever rebuilt their rear brake calipers?
I’m having mine powder coated so I have to completely pull them apart. What a pain in the ***, do you think the Engineers at Mazda could have added just a couple of more parts???

it will be a coulpe of weeks before I get them back; I'll let you know how they turned out.

 

I did mine and luckily it's a track car. I had no desire to try to sort throught the parking brake mess so all those parts were left on the workbench when they went back together. The screw mechanism was removed with a rotary file to make pad swaps alot easier too.
