Brake Gremlins
I've been ignoring the last of my electrical problems, and now I need help. When I turn on the lights the "Stop Light" light comes on in the idiot box. When I press the brake pedal the voltmeter drops, the interior lights dim and I can feel/hear the RPMs drop. I've reseated the brake connector, resoldered the CPUs, even replaced the CPUs—all to no avail! Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? I'm not sure where to start in hunting down a potential short. At this point, ANY advice would be appreciated.
Thank You All!

I just went through this same problem with mine. It's the voltage regulator in the alternator... get a new alternator. Or do like I did and borrow one from RX7Passion

That light will also come on if you have a bulb out.
As for the alternator, look on my website to see how to upgrade to an FD alternator. (easy!!! 100+ amps instead of 60-70)
