Without going home to look I believe its 52MM or a 2 1/8" socket will work

I have a bar made from a piece of 2 x 2 angle that is drilled to use 2 bolts on the flywheel and then it is drilled to allow 1 bolt throught the tranny mounting bolthole.

I must say taking the flywheel off was the hardest task of my rebuild (besides when I realized that I didn't have the clutch alighned perfect when I was trying to put the motor back in, that was a bitch). I broke 2 craftsman breaker bars (the biggest ones I could get my hands on) then I decided to use an impact wrench, spun that **** right off!

The flywheel has no bolts on it unless you're using an automatic trans counterweight.

Just wait till someone mixes up "*****" and "vagina" and see if you get picky yourself.

Go to Sears and they sell the 2 and 1/18 inch. Also to set the record streight its 54mm not 52. But ya go to sears and pick that socket up. It costs like $22 but its worth it.

RB sells both the stopper bar (which you could build yourself if you could) and the socket with a very long extension for the flywheel nut. I have an entire set that i use for that job. Along with Big Bertha the two handed impact wrench.
