Search.

And this is because I honestly don't remember how to spell the name of the shop. Look for Kevin Landers at Rotary Ressurection (sp?).

Kevin does not personally port any engine he builds, he sends it to another shop that I am currently unaware of. But yes the search feature will help you in your endevors(sp)

According to his website it states he does not do porting because he barely breaks even, since he has to send it to someone else.

You're completely reading that wrong.

Note that I will not perform porting on any plates and then ship them out, porting is only available for engines being built here. Porting is a break-even proposition most of the time, the engine itself is the only profit.
He's not saying he doesn't do porting period, he is saying he will not port an engine he isn't REBUILDING, because the time it takes to port versus the money he makes off of it is a break-even proposition. And NOWHERE does he say he sends it to anyone else.

Yeah, I do my own porting. I experimented letting a couple of machinists try porting for me, but none of it suited me.

I'm just saying I dont want to fool with "out the door" porting, like some of the bigger shops who have dedicated port people. To port out a motor will take a good 6 hours plus bits, so yes, my $200-300 prices are pretty much break-even. The only real money I make is in the rebuild itself.

As I told you, I will probably begin work on it tomorrow. I dont work saturday nights or sundays...at least, not rx7 work. Worked all day yesterday on the yard, and all day today cleaning carpet and floors inside.

Cheap should never be associated with rebuilding a motor...
