Head to your regional forum and find a trusted local builder. That's what I always recommend so you can have someone to talk to about options, complain to, etc.

We( Turblown Engineering) are a little ways away, and booked for the month also. However we don't do rebuilds without ground irons, new rotor housings, new bearings, and all new seals etc; in otherwords we aren't cheap...

I'll recommend Kevin @ Rotaryresurrection.com. Great guy, very down to earth and easy to talk to. He's got a new website and you won't find anyone cheaper probably. But of course he doesn't use new housings and things of that nature like Turblown. Just depends on how much you wanna spend.

I recommend Karack (as seen above) he built my motor, as well as many other friends of mine. Everything has been great with no complaints.

The guy is in Reno and you are suggesting he ship an engine halfway across the continent?

most decent rotary builders are booked for at least a month though, if they aren't booked i would think something is wrong with what they are doing.

I swear by Elliot at Turblown Engineering. I have 13k wrapped up and shooting to do another 9k in a year. Not one problem with his work, and has been patient with my payments to keep work going. Other than my crappy Atkins Rotary engine I got, his work has beeen perfect.
