Angry Fog light help!!

ok so i bought some S5 fog lights a couple of months ago and kept them in my room..

i hooked up the fog light switch (easy)

hooked up the foght lights just to the connecters without mounting them in my bumper..

they will NOT work

i checked the bulbs they look good and i checked my fuse...

what else could be wrong? everything looks to be in mint condition..

car is a 1989 GTU

i need help with this asap because my car is getting painted tomorrow and i want them to hook up the flog lights so i dont have to take my freshly painted bumper off... = (

Did you install a fog light relay? Look near the overflow bottle for an extra relay connector.

In the nose of the car with the rest of the relays...

If you don't have at least three relays up there, look for an unused 4-pin socket, that'll be for the fog lamp relay.

does anyone know where i can get a replacement oem fog light bulb?? i noticed its different from the H3 bulbs you see at autozone and on ebay.. the ones used in the s5 fogs have two tabs one for + and other for - ... the ones in autozone or ebay have just one (usually a wire)for + and have self grounding..

do i just some how make the fogs ground when i mount them?? and use the H3's i see on zutozone or ebay??

They're H3C's. Go on eBay or online, you can get 4-5 for what the dealer wants for 1. If not, you can convert the H3's to work using this: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/light...onversion.html
