rear toe eliminators?!~
While my shocks were still good... I took my TII to a wet parking lot the first day it rained after I bought her and tried some extreme driving with her.
The turn in was very good, much higher limit than my S13, but in extreme cornering the car seemed to have two positions.
1) Still turning and gripped
2) Facing the wrong direction
The back end snaps loose pretty easily with wheelspin, and it doesn't seem to have much tolerence to playing with it while it's out there. The S13 was way more forgiving once the rear lost traction, but the limit was also much lower than the FC. I had KYB's and Suspension Techniques springs, Whiteline sways and strut tower braces on the S!3, but still had an open diff, and the rear subframe bushings were very tired. I also was running a SR20DET with a HKS ball bearing turbo and a Power FC, so the difference in power was in favor of the S13.
Once I get some decent struts and springs in there, I'll see what it feels like then, but I think that I'll buy the elimination bushings just to be on the safe side. Drifting is one of my pasttimes, so with the balance of this car being better than what I'm used to, I'd like all the predicatilty and feedback I can get from it.
