Arrow Rear end keeps wagging around... something is wrong!!! Help?!

Ok... I've had a problem in my car for a while, im
not sure if it's getting worse now or not, but I am noticing it like crazy because I just started driving my car again after 4 months.

My rear suspension is stock, with the exception of springs that have been slightly cut. (1/2" drop at most maybe)

Here are the symptoms-

The rear of the car tends to really wag around when going over bumps like railway tracks and such.
When it's slightly wet out, and the rear of the car drives over lines and painted arrows on the road, especially with the rear left tire, the back of the car always wants to take a skid out to the left. This is while driving in a straight line!
At high speeds, it starts swinging back and forth, like a
pedulum. Not cool.
Bad wear on the inside of the left rear tire... and left side rear seems to have more camber than the right.
There are no perceivable bad clunks or noises... though there may be an occasional clunk I'm attributing to the shaky rear hatch....

Feels like there are some bushings made of water ballons or something. What should I be looking for???
BTW I had a rear shock blow on another FC I had, and it felt nothing like this... there was no lateral movement like am experienceing here. It actually juggles you from you side to side in your seat

Any suggestions??? help!

I ahve the same problem. its cause you need a rear end alignment.. and possibly new struts too!!

Maybe the DTSS is dead...

The rear end can't be aligned though.......
I do have a set of used struts... maybe I'll though them on. That's a crappy job.

The DTSS is my thought..... that would explain the swinging, but why the tendancy to skid to the left over anything with limited traction?? I've never hit any curbs or anything.... and in a recent alignment check it only showed way too much camber. (Left especially for some reason..)

It's possible the rear toe adjustment, at the front of the trailing arm, is loose.

This picture shows the offset cam washer & bolt where the adjustment is made.

yes yes, that rear toe will do it, and yes the rear can be aligned, with that bolt....there are markings on it so you can see if it properly aligned

Another possibility is too much tire pressure in a negative cambered, low profile tire.
I run 28PSI in 225/50-15's to get a good footprint.
At 35PSI in 50 series tires, you are just using the inside half of the tread.

no, his problem is suspension related...I'd first check your struts but it really sounds like your bushings are toast in the rear - also check ALL trailing arm bolts front and rear!! a loose one on the rear somehow would cause a waggy rear

If camber out, cannot adjust without aftermarket parts. Yes, check all bushings, DTSS bushings, and the sub link bushings. If they are gone more neg camber.

my fiero did this, but it had like 15 deg of negative camber in the rear, and later I found out that there was a framerail so badly rotted that it was completely disconnected, letting everything flop around however it felt like... it would wag in the rain, swing back and forth and back and forth FOREVER... so annoying.....

wagging tail

thier is a bolt in the toe control hub that is part of "mazda" active rear steering believe it or not . the rear wheels will pitch to the outside of a turn when driving aggre/ when the rubber around the bolt goes bad so does your driving ,literaly easy fix for about $60bucks you can buy toe eliminator kit from mazdatrix to cure this problem.

yes, but that wouldn't cause this problem. If you've read the article they've already dismissed that as a possibility.

My rear-end is doing this like crazy, it feels like the back of the car just jumps up and moves over. Doesn't really 'wag', any ideas?
