rear defogger problem

i changed my headlight switch and for the first couple of times i used the rear fogger the light came on(i was just checking to see if it would turn on and off and it did. but i don't think it was really working). then about a week later the light will not turn off, and the defogger doesn't work. i tryied a search but couldn't find anything.

thanks for the help in advance

Check and make sure that the contacts on the back window defroster strips didn't come off. They are hidden under a plastic cover on each side, and they tend to break loose because they are old.

i also looked at the plug for the headlight switch and it looks fine(no burn marks and all the wires are still in the plug)

The relay is in the jack storage area.

It has a BW, BG, W, BL wires.

It runs off the Defroster Circuit breaker and the Turn fuse in the interior fuse box.

The series four wiring is online and free to look at.
