RE Swap Questions
Have a couple questions for my RE Swap.
1. I'm using a Exedy Hyper Single clutch with a lightweight flywheel, My car is an S4 TII. Which Throwout Bearing do i use?
2. Which pilot bearing and seal do I use for the RE?
3. Does anyone know which block off-plates are needed, I want to remove all the emissions stuff but I do want to keep the OMP? I dont know if I need FD block off's or S5 block offs.
4. Does anyone have a vacum diagram to hook the RE twins up parallel and plumb the vacum for the RE to FC setup.
5. Will the stock FC oil cooler lines fit the RE engine?
6. Does anyone know where I could get a manifold gasket kit?
7. Also does anyone sell a flange for the funky 3 stud exhaust setup?
Thanks,
Statik

1. You need a new counter weight for your flywheel.
2. You use the FD Seal
3. If you are using the FD manifold you use FD plates. If you are using your S4 manifold then you use S4 plates. You have to change the front cover to the S4 front cover for OMP. That or use a standalone which probably a good idea anyways. If you use the S4 front cover and S4 OMP you need to use the S4 manifold.
4. To use the twins you just plumb the two waste gates into each other then set your boost controler and plug that into the manifold.
5. If you replace your front cover with a S4 front cover you can. Thought I'm pretty sure the are the same anyways.
6. Atkins
7. Use a FD downpipe.
Plus you need the RE motor mount Kit FC3S sell them.
