If I may, I am going to give you a slight tip...If you can wait a month or two before your shifter purchase, I think you will be much happier. A new shifter for the 2nd gen is about to be introduced into the market, and I guarantee it will be worth the wait.

The shifter is based on one that I designed in response to the lack of a B&M style shifter for the 2nd gen. 3rd gen guys can go to B&M and purchase one of their fine products, while our only choice are a few short shifters. The current short shifters on the market all suffer from the same problems: excessivly sloppy shifts due to stock bushings and rattles. My design eliminates all this. It's currently out in prototype form on a few cars, and everything seems to be going well. So we're hoping to get it out within a month or two. I can't say much more or do any promotion because I'm not yet a forum authorized advertisor.

Hahahha, aaron, your making shifters? damn. Or are you selling your idea to another company that makes them? OR are you and another company sharing profits from the sale of short shifters?
I can most certainly wait a few months. Hopefully they will be available in both S4 and S5 form.
cool.

Man, you must really LOVE your current shifter, cos I hate the fact that I spent a good amount of money on a C's short shifter but opted for the S4 thread, only to find out later that almost NOBODY made THREADED shift ***** for S4s (12x1.5).
I'm anxious to see the shifter, and if reasonable priced, I will soon have a C's S4 short shifter for sale, haha.

Ohhhh yeah! Sounds good. So this shifter won't need bushings to be replaced, etc? I can't wait to hear more about this!
You never did say anything about the shifter threads. I presonally have not found any shift **** that I like more than the stock S4 one, and I'd love to be able to reuse it.
