just got a fake 1 and was 1000 with everything plus 90 bux for shipping, got here and i was disappointed with it so i sold here in the neigberhood, and decided it was worth to get the real kit cause when you buy a fake 1 your getting what you pay for, or its possible that i just got a shitty bumper and the covers werent that ggood neither, ive seen a few real kits and they just look cleaner

I don't know about the fake ones but I've seen a real Amemiya front end up close and the fit and finish seem excellent. I see no reason to buy a fake one since the real one is only a couple hundred more.

Anyways, my only gripe is I heard it is fiberglass? I always thought it was built up of a urethane material.

Actually, the Rotary Extreme replica is about $600-650 for just the bumper (no lights). The RE Amemiya original is twice that...again just for the bumper (no lights). I chose the replica for a simple reason. My car is a daily driver, and my daily drive takes me through a winding canyon road and often times I'll come around a semi-blind corner only to find a rock in the middle of the road. I feel much better "potentially" damaging a $600 bumper than a $1300 one! But with that said, I admit that if my car were a daily driver on "normal" roads (freeways, highways, city streets, etc) then I would have more than likely sprung for the original RE Amemiya front end.
