RB Presilencer

Hey guys, I was looking at presilencers because i just got done driving my car. I havent driven it since november and you know what, its way too ****** loud. I guess i got used to the ford ranger ive been driving this whole winter. It seriously ruined my RX driving experience. I was looking at the RB units. www.racingbeat.com/resultset.asp?PartNumber=16406 Has anyone that used these noticed a big difference? right now i have a full 3" Turboback strightpipe. Specifically the FC3S.org one. I really like the look of it but i would like it to be a little (alot) quieter. I know there are tons of threads on these but none to my situation. Its really getting scary to drive it. ive heard about wrapping in heat insulation tape as well. Im kind of shooting for a 95-100dB range. thanks -alex

Wow that's weird.
I'm driving a Ford Ranger too because my FC is out of commission.

I bought the RB DP and Presilencer and have a Cork Sport 3 inch cat back.

I'm hoping it will be some what Quiet. I haven't gotten the engine in yet

I'm running a RB Header ( Street Header )/Presilencer to Apexi Dual N1's, and if my car was to get louder without that Presilencer, I'd go nuts. My car is un-holy loud ( alot louder then I ever imagined ), and rattels the hell out of my interior and even the change in my little coin tray. How ever, I'm also running RB's full Header back exhaust ( RB Street Header/Presilencer/Power Pulse Mufflers ) ( http://racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm ) on my 83 and it's a HAIR over stock sound. Now weither that's because of the muffler or because I have the Presilencer on, I dunno. Just letting you know my personal experience
