Question Can't turn off alarm!!

I was wondering if someone could possibly tell me where to get an alarm remote for my mazda rx7 1987...They said that year they did not come from factory so I took it in to a shop and they said yes it had to be factory. Well if I lock my doors when I get in the horn goes off and the lights start flashing. So unless I want to unhook my battery every time I just don't lock it..Can I get a remote for this somewhere? Thanks alot...Rita

unlock the passenger side door when the alarm rings - I believe u have to unlock the passenger side first to disarm the factory alarm.

Sounds like someone put a new driver's side door on your car. I had this problem with my AE (different door, alarm going off) and I ended up just unplugging my alarm and ditching it. I found this easier than walking around to the passenger side and unlocking that door first.
