RB cat-back question

Right now I'd like to purchase JUST the cat-back system from Racing Beat, due to lack of funds. my question is because I know the racing beat is 2.5 inches, now is my stock 88 gxl exaust 2.25? and will the cat back system fit onto my car. i believe it will connect to the resignator, or do i need some sort of adapter?

thanks

its plug and play with the stock catback components. just make sure you put the gaskets for y pipe and mufflers in the correct place. they are different.

The NA cat-back will fit like a condom.

Just make sure to buy a new gasket. I got a Bonez Superflo system for cheap if you need it.

Replacing just the mufflers and Y pipe wont gain you much performance.

A better first step is getting a straight pipe or replacement cat like the one jager mentioned to eliminate those extremely restrictive and outdated emissions equipment.

If your stock mufflers are done than yeah the RB cat-back is a no-brainer to install.
