Perhaps a problem with the power steering. Check the 2nd gen FAQ at the top of this section. Beep sequence will point you in the direction of the specific cause.

ok, ive come up with this
2-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of engine speed signal:
The buzzer sounds twice and repeats when the vehicle speed signal is missing input and/or no engine speed signal is found (short circuit, broken wire, etc.)

thats my problem, it beeps twice quick then it stops, then it starts again....im assuming some sensor just died then?

does your speedo work? The speed sensor is built into the speedometer

nah, its not the seatbelt, it'll do the two beeps pause then continue, but then later on it just keeps beeping then it kinda sounds like its trying to beep and dies out.

Have you recently removed your steering wheel? There is a white plastic assembly under it, the steering angle sensor. When people install aftermarket steering wheels they have a tendency to crush it, this will also cause the PS control unit to beep. It will also beep if it is low on fluid.

Are you sure that it is two beeps??? Is it coming from the fuse box area or behind the driver's dash speaker area???
