ran out of gas!! need some help

well....sadly...its gay..when i got car home after i "thought" I ran out of gas i had checked my power wire that goes to amp and the fuse on it was all bubly and broken lookin but when i was driving it before it died the sub was working fine.....so we took apart everything checked fuel filter tryed push start etc etc then my dad see's that fuse(which i had told him about already) and says lets check other fuse and sadly the guy who hooked up my system hooked the amp to the engine fuse so i guess after a while it blew out that fuse....and thats why my car wouldnt start >< thx to all who helped now if my car ever doesnt start or if i ever run out of gas(which now i doubt imma let it ever even get fuken close) ill know wut to do

Could you clairify this a little bit? It sounds like you tried to push start your car but the fuse for your amp was broken....

He blew the engine Fuse(I think) because some Nutbar hooked his Amp to the fuse.That is why it would not start ..BLOWN FUSE.case closed..Next!(glad to hear you got it runnin again!)

oh, yeah, and in the mean time, hook that amp directly to the battery (with a fuse no more than 2' from the battery!). Get it off of the main line's power, that wire already has enough to deal with!
