It Ran!

See rex. Watch rex run. REX CAN RUN!!!!!

I have been working on my car since JULY...(weekends only...)

It finally runs. I am so friggin happy.

It smoked a lot.

It had a small lope in the idle.

Tomorrow I will get everything set straight.

Damn I have so many plans for this car.

Anyways, nother T2 soon to be on the street!

Gotta love that feeling of relief

Ive been working on mine for a year. It started off as POS and now is the greatest RX7 to ever drop oil on a city street.

*sniff sniff* I feel like I gave birth to a frigin CHILD for cryin out loud!

one problem:

I have often heard that alternator - air pump = need ofr double pully or a special belt. I just picked a belt that was shorter than the original... should I see any problems with this?

you'll be fine with just the one belt....unless you are going to be driving the car for long periods of time above 4-5K rpms (like track racing)

glad to hear it runs

check the voltage directly from the alternator to eliminate other possibilites.
