Yeah, you can buy stop leak at any auto parts store. But, it is probably a better idea to start saving money to replace the radiator or get it fixed by a radiator shop if possible. Where exactly is it leaking from?

I always suggest against using any form of stop leak products. IF it stops up the leak, what else is it blocking up?
Either get the core braized at a rad shop or purchase yourself a new rad. Its more cost effective in the long run.

Yeah, stop leak is only a temporary fix. Depending on how "small" the leak is he might have a chance to get it properly fixed. However, for some people this car is their only means of transportation and proper repairs have to wait a little while.

Ouch, so the system is not even pressurized and it is leaking like a sieve I am guessing. Stop leak probably would not hold that for long, if at all. Best to take the advice above and get it brazed properly, get yourself a new one, or get a used one you KNOW is in good condition.
