does anyone know if these dimensions will fit for the RX7(86), 21"W 22"D 37"H?

the actual dimensions r 22"W 23"D 35"H

Yea they should fit with a little fabrication. I think that those are similar to the seats that I have.

Those the Recaros that are the same as the Type-Rs have stock? SRDs I think? If so would you say that you sit a little lower than the stock seat or higher?

those ebay seats fit, i have all black ones in my car. and i say they do fit, but it will take some work with the stock seat rails. hardest is the passanger side

i have the ractive ones.... the driver side fit w/out a problem...... the pass side hits the armrest a little... nothing that closing the door a little harder doesnt solve....

mine doesnt hit the arm rest. it did at first, but then i noticed it was lop sided, after a little more work i corrected it and everything fits fine.

Just as a clarification, racing seats don't recline. Those are what are usually called sport seats. However, sport seats are just fine for city/highway driving and low-risk events like autocross. In the case of these particular low-budget seats, I would be a bit concerned whether they are made well enough to protect the occupants under impact like the stock seats that have passed DOT testing, or like race seats that have passed FIA or similar testing.

thanx guys, im gonna get those seat. Im about ready to put it up for the winter. onna rebuild the suspension over the winter also, any suggestions?

the seats aren't gonna break... I think its the harnesses that I would be worried about...
But then again, if you hit hard enough to bust a harness out of a strut bar I don't think you're gonna have much to worry about anymore...
